The number of Italian companies listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) increased year-on-year from 2015 to 2022. The Alternative Investment Market is the market for smaller and growing companies. Companies listed on AIM have lower requirements in terms of initial public offerings (IPOs), corporate governance and information disclosed to investors. As of the end of December 2022, there were a total of 190 companies listen on the AIM on the Milan Stock Exchange.
